WHO ARE WE?
Sunderland Freshers Week is brought to you by the team behind Independent, Sunderland’s biggest and longest running nightclub and music venue. Independent has played host to the city’s biggest weekly parties, club night events, massive national touring names and DJs since 2006.
We’ve hosted everyone from Erol Alkan to Marshall Jefferson, from Bonobo to Sam Fender (but never Barry Chuckle). We’re the home of the original Blue Pint, we’re the house of the Sesh, the late-night home-from-home where you’ll always find a warm welcome.
